ASKAM VILLAGE SCHOOL SCHOOL ON THE UP AT SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS
THE boys and girls of Askam Village School showed their athletic prowess with victory in the Furness Sportshall Final.
Under the watchful eye of Great Britain Paralympian Dean Miller, youngsters from five South Cumbrian schools took part in a host of indoor events at DASH at Dowdales.
Askam won by a single point from Holy Family in the final standings, after a hard morning of competition.
Their triumph came just four days after they claimed victory in the Dowdales cluster event to qualify for the finals.
